Children, by nature, are curious and love to interact and experiment with things as they learn. Math Buddy aims to improve the understanding of concepts through the use of practical, engaging lessons supplemented by interactive manipulatives and animations that make the concepts stick in their minds better. We firmly believe that understanding the concepts and the practical applications behind the lessons makes learning enjoyable and provides a solid foundation for long term academic success.

Math Buddy features more than 1000 interactive activities designed to make math learning fun and engaging. The activities have been developed based on extensive research on the teaching methodologies in different parts of the world. In addition to activities, each topic is accompanied by easy-to-use interactive online practice worksheets published every week with immediate feedback on the child's performance. There is also an assessment module for each topic containing numerous quality questions to help assess the child's level of understanding of the concepts. |
In addition, Math Buddy features a moderated forum for Teachers and Students to share information and getting help with anything and everything relating to the field of education. Students could get help in understanding concepts that they find difficult to grasp or get help when they get stuck with some difficult homework problems |
Math Buddy also publishes a free "Question of the Day" for kids to get exposed to various types of questions focused on conceptual understanding. There is also a Funzone that has lots of interactive games and puzzles along with lots of logical reasoning questions to arouse the curiosity of young minds.

Kannan Bharadwaj, has deep passion for technology and its application in the field of education to help both educators and learners. He has a Bachelor of Technology from Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai, and an MBA from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Prior to starting MathBuddy, Kannan had worked for more than 15 years in the corporate world in various capacities at Ford Motor Company and General Motors in the United States and India. Bharathy Bharadwaj, was the founder of SolutionSpace in Ann Arbor, MI in 2003. Her burning desire to contribute positively to the society at large was the prime reason behind MathBuddy. She is a gold medallist in Bachelor of Technology at Madras Institute of Technology, and has a Masters in Computer Science from Eastern Michigan University.
